🔧 ESAB Welding Electrode Holder with Enhanced Head Screw: Ultimate Efficiency and Longevity Review

As a result of my tests, I determined that this welding electrode holder is not worth the money. The build quality is poor and the screw thread is badly machined. It's difficult to attach and even harder to remove electrodes, which results in a frustrating and time-consuming experience.

By far the best rotating electrode holder. This holder and other branded versions of this type, like the "Myking", which looks like the exact same tip with a black head and a different pattern on the handle, seem to be popular in Asia and Europe. I don't know why they didn't catch on in the US. It's very nice not to have a lever getting in your way. It's easy (at least for me) to operate it with one hand while wearing thick gloves. One movement to bend the bar to any desired angle when needed…

PROS: #1 no exposed conductive metal, i can put it anywhere without accidental sparks (safety 1) #2 bending the rod is so easy #3 the Rod holds tighter than any other point I've used #4, virtually indestructible, I've dropped it six feet, a hard but not brittle screw cap can withstand a semi-soft rubber handle that doesn't burn easily. The #5 grip base has rubber that surrounds the wire and prevents dirt and water from getting into the #6 grip. It fits into tighter spaces without the #7 handle.
