Pretty nice welding jacket.

I bought it because I'm repairing a truck frame in the summer. Normally if wear an old Carhartt but I didn't want to cook in it and it's pretty bulky for working on my back. This coat was perfect for my needs. Light enough to move freely but thick enough that I couldn't feel sparks burning me. I caught it on a few things and it didn't rip. I'm tall and is prefer it just a few inches longer but the length wasn't a problem.

Pros
  • very comfortable and durable
Cons
  • The leather is good, but the blue areas had holes burned in them from welding within a week.

Great Jacket, order a size up

It’s a great jacket, leather all the way across the chest and arms, doesn’t feel too restrictive and looks great. I’m 210 lbs and 6’0 even, large shirts and jackets typically fit me perfectly but based on other reviews I ordered an XL and it fits about as well as a large usually does. My only complaint is the sleeves are a bit long but I can live with that.

Pros
  • It’s very comfortable, definitely very durable and for its value it has impressed me.
Cons
  • Nice jacket. Would given 5 stars but snap buttons broke after about 2 weeks

Literally shredded after 2 months wear

Nice fit . Comfortable! After two months of welding it literally fell to pieces , could not even use it as a rag . Waste of money

Pros
  • I bought this jacket for my husband he is a welder. It works great for him
Cons
  • Buttons on jacket popped off after a couple uses. Fits small

Runs small: my feedback

My husband is a welder and ordered one of these for his coworker. He urged him to get a bigger size but his coworker insisted on a medium. It was too tight on him so keep that in mind and maybe go a size up. It's kind of hard to tell without a size chart. Besides that it's a good jacket and does it's job well.

Pros
  • Nice coat for welding.
Cons
  • 3 of the buttons ripped out in the first 2 weeks, the jacket is junk.

Good Looking Welding Jacket

Son uses the welding jacket for welding school and his PT welding job. He needed something less likely to burn and was good looking for a 24 yr old. The jacket has performed very well. My boy was happy with the jacket weight and quality. He claims it is comfortable to wear, true to size and not to heavy.

Pros
  • Good value.
Cons
  • Users with larger arms may find the sleeves too tight

Came Damaged good for me

Update: Previously I was upset about my purchase but their customer service its amazing and they help me replace it and even keep the one that was damaged. NEW one was in perfect condition and smelling good 👍Product came wet, smelling like a deadanimal and with mold on it everywhere. Can I get a new one sent or a refund please, I was looking forward for this so excited but this was really dissapointing. Images cant compensate how bad it came.

Pros
  • Product was just as expected. True to size.
Cons
  • The leather sleeves can limit movement

Great sleeves. Bad buttons.

The welding jacket is great. The problem is the of the buttons broke off the first time I wore it. Usually welding jacket buttons last a good while before they break. The first button broke the FIRST time I took it off.

Pros
  • so far so good
Cons
  • The design may not suit everyone's taste

Great quality and stylish design.

Was tired of my honey coming home with flash burn so I ordered hoping he would like it. He loves it. Loved the look of it. The jacket is stylish and comfortable. Not too heavy but you can easily identify the quality of the jacket as soon as he put it on. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Grandson is into welding at school and home on the farm. He is pleased with fit and looks.
Cons
  • Was to small for a 3xl.. could barely fit into it..

bad factory components

Good product but hot for the summer, the buttons that are an essential part of the jacket are crap. Used one day and they started to break

Pros
  • Good quality welding jacket.
Cons
  • Can be too small or too tight for some users

Great welding coat on my review.

This coat is a great weight. Not too heavy or too thin. Love the leather sleeves. Went a size up so it would fit over sweatshirts, etc. It is a little short on my son, who is 6'3", hits him right at the waist.

Pros
  • Very comfortable. Great fit and feel. Offers good protection and feels like quality materials.
Cons
  • Two snaps have already come off

Cooler than a full leather jacket.

Nice jacket, cooler to where then the full leather. Good for Mig/MAG welding. Not sure how it will work for stick welding.

Pros
  • Good for summer not Winter. Light weight and comfortable
Cons
  • May not offer adequate protection against stronger flames

Good Jacket - my new review

It is a good welding jacket. I wear it only for welding and it is comfortable (at least for welding jackets) and does it's job well.

Pros
  • As described
Cons
  • May not be suitable for users with latex allergies

Large enough for a fat dude, barely.

Just came in the mail today so haven't had a chance to use it yet but so far impressed with the general weight and fit. I'm a rather round dude who usually wears a 3XL or 4XL shirt (5'10" #305) and the 4x version is big enough to fit around me, only just. The sleeves are a touch long for someone of my height but that beats being short in my book. Overall very happy so far for the price.

Pros
  • Great jacket for the price. I’m 6’3" 215 lbs with long arms. Sleeve length on the jacket is great!
Cons
  • Buttons fall off jacket, poorly made!

worth the money if you know how to fix buttons

I jist started a welding class and needed sleeves or something. When i seen this jacket i knew thats what i wantted. It does its job really good. The one thing i dislike about it. Is that i almost had to sew back on almost every button in the last month. Othef then that its a good purshase

Pros
  • Exelente
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean and maintain

I’m 5’10 235 lbs. =xxl

Runs alittle short on arms. I wear a 17.5 neck /32/33 dress shirt. I got an xxl. Seems like a durable shop , welding grinding coat. These things just get pretty nasty over time and no need to have one forever. I’m happy with money spent.

Pros
  • DurableUsed it for welding and very protective
Cons
  • The size's are completely wrong.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not great with welding

The fabric that is attacued to the lower half is not great. Welding will completely tear through it. There is no heat resistance to that fabric. Not a good joice of welding jacket

Pros
  • It was nice but it runs small have to reorder in bigger size.
Cons
  • Jacket is great. Except four of the buttons failed within the first couple days of use

Seems like it will work okay

Not sure where to begin….I read reviews about the sizing and how people think it fits smaller than expected. So I ordered a Large. I typically wear a medium. I would say the Large feels like a Large. I can even wear a hoodie and thick shirt underneath with extra room. If I were to buy it again I would stick with my normal size.Showed up in brand new packaging…but it was moldy. I don’t know where it was stored at, but there was definitely white mold spots on the jacket inside the plastic wrap…

Pros
  • Good quality and thick.
Cons
  • The size range may not be inclusive enough for all users
