Direct replacement for Welders

Liner fits perfectly on my Lincoln Pro-Mig 175 with Magnum 100L gun. Just swap it out and my problems are gone. EDIT: I also bought a 45-40-15 (.035-.045) case for another shotgun I have with the same great results.

Pros
  • Welders and Accessories
Cons
  • High Price

Works, but not quite right.

Works but not quite right. I just installed this in my Lincoln weld pack and it didn't quite match the old part. The brass fitting at the end of the welder is shorter than that on the shank. Therefore, when you try to tighten the set screw, it is actually trying to push the sleeve fitting out. I solved this problem by tightening it with my finger, but not enough to push the fitting out. The entire description of this item says it's made for a 100 liter flashgun, but it's easy to get it to work.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Very expensive

Now the wire is fed more smoothly.

MiG welders have inserts through which the welding wire is pushed. Eventually, the earplugs need to be replaced due to accident or old age. Any kink or sharp protrusion in the guide will prevent the wire from moving smoothly to the torch. I realized this when my Lincoln Weld-Pak 155 started spattering the filler wire. I removed the outer housing from the inner cable drive mechanism and loosened the set screw in the base and pulled out the bushing. The 35-40-15 .030-.035 sleeve I bought from…

Pros
  • Welding and soldering

  • So far so good
