This snood is very affordable compared to big brand options, I think it's about half the price. However, it is difficult to operate and tricky to rotate the metal parts of the stencil. You can only rotate each pattern piece about 90° before removing and reinserting it completely. This is due to a defect in the bracket that holds the metal plate in this sleeve. It works, but could have been designed with a little more thought.

I enjoyed using the cone nozzle. I was impressed with the build quality for the price. Understand, for $100 it's half the cost of other snoods, don't expect them to be completely solid. Normally an optical snoot costs $250-$300. When I saw this one on sale for $149 I was skeptical about its quality. I'm a product photographer and I took a test shot with this optical assembly using Canon L-series lenses on a device with the assembly.
