Quality issues DO NOT BUY ON AMAZON

This is my first Revain review in 6 years. I absolutely love my little kitten and have been ordering this food for a few months now (3 batches total). my kitty had stomach problems and i finally found out that this food is the culprit. I don't blame the manufacturer, I blame the sender. Either the groceries have expired or they are not properly stored/delivered. Something wrong. Since this product is intended for kittens, many cat owners buy it for the first time and don't realize the strange…

quality problems? - Cats

, something is wrong with this cat food I received recently, the kittens almost don't want to eat it except a small amount in the morning when they are hungry! A kitten whose poop became persistently hard after a poor reaction to deworming has now had diarrhea again after we started using the cans from this last case. another kitten that had no soft poo at all was loose yesterday and had really loose poo with a bloody streak tonight. It is clear that this food causes digestive problems etc and…

Problems urinating when using this food

We adopted kittens 2.6 months old who have been vet checked and are healthy. The foster mother only fed her dry food, so we wanted to add a healthy canned option. After 5 weeks of feeding Wellness for Kittens, the kitten developed struvite crystals, a partial urinary tract obstruction, and both kittens had diarrhea the entire time this food was fed. After medical intervention and refusal of this food, the kittens feel well again. I never thought this could happen with this brand, but there…

Kittens Enjoy Health

I Raised Kittens for Austin Pets Alive! 6 years and fed them this kitten food at every meal as soon as they stopped bottle drinking. I have also tried other brands of wet kitten food (e.g. Royal Canin, Blue Buffalo) and I find this wellness to be the right way to instill a love of independent food in kittens. The nutrients in this food ensure a lush, soft coat, bright eyes and satisfied tummies more than other brands. Adopters become very strong, including through exercise. Some foster parents…

Beware of products with an expiration date of 2/11/20

I have been using Wellness with two cats for many years but no longer. When I recently adopted an abandoned kitten, I started using this wellness kitty food and she loved it. Then I noticed hard bone fragments in the glasses. One part was sharp and the other rounded. Please check your glasses for expiry dates - we have had bone glasses that expire on 2/11/20. Unfortunately my last shipment of Revain for me (January 2018) was from this batch. In addition to this experience, Wellness changed the…

Great food for foster kittens

I am a cat lover and always use the combination of this food and Blue Buffalo Indoor Kitten Freedom Grain Free. I love that it's available in bulk (feed 3-5 kittens, I can't justify buying individual cans from the store), it's grain free and feels like a high quality growing kitten food. Also, the price is competitive, which I noticed compared to buying the same amount at a pet food store (nearest store that sells this food is 30 minutes away). Over 21 kittens passed through my house last year…

White substance on underside - cat has a spot

I have been feeding my kittens this food since July 16th, they love it and are healthy with a shiny coat. I give the food 5 but 2 stars due to the bad batch I received. I started buying it from Amazon about 4 months ago. I order 6 packs out of 24 every month. With this latest order. At first I used a knife to get food out and never looked at the underside. After a few days, I inverted the jar to get food out and noticed a white substance at the bottom, as well as a semi-hard crust that had…

Quality ingredients for the price.

I bought it because I had a new kitten and I wanted to do everything in my power for her. I did a little research and found this to be one of the best products for the highest price I was willing to pay. She was a foundling at 2 weeks old and was bottle fed and then given adult wet food Friskies. The woman didn't really like cats, but she did what she thought was best. She made me take her at 5 weeks. I taught her this food and she's been growing like a weed ever since. She comes running when I
