Perfect replacement

The fan resistor on my 2010 Honda Fit blew out because the factory fan was drawing too much current. The new resistor fitted and worked great.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Cheaper than buying locally

Perfect for our 2010 Honda Fit! Made an awful noise and this helped fix that. When we replaced the fan we decided to replace it as well to provide a long term solution.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some little things

Works as advertised

This looks like an exact replacement for the original. I tested it but it's not really needed at the moment as my original was still working. The fan didn't work so I figured I'd get both just in case so I didn't have to wait for the next delivery. I didn't feel like poking my head under the very small compartment during the summer heat.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Just in case you smell burned

Direct replacement for what is in my 2011 Honda Fit. Same manufacturer and all. The dead admit that something is wrong, it's the smell of burning. Then the fan will not work at all speeds. This changes the speed. If the fan bearings fail, the resistance will become too high, the unit will overheat, and the 'fuse' solder will melt to prevent a fire.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

This thing blows. literally.

Used this to replace a resistance pack on my friend's 2010 Honda Fit Sport. This showed the obvious symptom (AC/Heater only running at full power) so replacing the resistor pack was an easy task. The Honda Fit is a small car, so getting to where you need to replace the block can be problematic. I'm 5ft 4in and even I had a hard time. Needless to say, this replacement has worked flawlessly and my friend is able to run his air conditioner/heater at a moderate speed.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

I ordered this part when the air/heater in my 2011 Honda Fit was starting to tighten function. I was hoping this would be the only part I would need but after some research it turned out that the real culprit is the fan motor putting too much current into the resistor causing 3 of the 4 circuits to overload. That being said I ordered this part as well as a new fan motor (TYC 700247 Honda Fit Replacement Fan Assembly) both of which were perfect replacements for my year, make and model. I was…

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • Minor problems
