Highly recommended, but I've made a few upgrades

Update 10/19/2020: I love this grinder. I only use it for grinding steel, so I replaced the abrasive belt with one that's rated for metal (ceramic instead of the original aluminum oxide). I have no complaints so far and use this grinder every other day. This is the exact same grinder sold under the Ryobi brand. I looked for Ryobi at my local hardware store but they were all sold out. If you get a good one, it works decently.

I have mixed feelings about the thing. If you can get a good device that works, for the price, I think it's a pretty good deal. As I drive it I fully understand how this thing can eventually break/wear out if you push it to its somewhat limited limits. Gross mechanical defects aside, it's literally just an AC motor, a starting capacitor, and a switch. So you might think that the hacking possibilities would be limited, but of course not.
