The reason I was looking for an all weather blanket was because the one I bought a while ago was too hot!. This one is just warm, not too cold or hot, which is great. The feel of the blanket is comfortable and soft enough, it's not light, so I feel something is covering my body. So if you are looking for an ultra light blanket, this blanket is not for you.

You must think people are stupid or something. Some bullshit is advertised with 1200 thread count soft cotton and 750 goose down. 5% organic and they're right about being light because most of the squares are missing the fill (probably 750 fill goose down). It's so frustrating how hard it gets to find organic material. I don't mind paying the price, just don't try to pass off junk as real quality.

I live in San Diego and in the fall when it wasn't hot or cold I needed a good comforter. It's perfect. The feathers don't poke through the material like many others, and the square stitching keeps them evenly spaced. I have slept very well since receiving this about 2 weeks ago. I never leave reviews but I almost didn't buy it because the reviews said it had duck feathers and little filler. Ignore these reviews. I bought a gray pleated duvet and it's great. So the picture for this product seemed very nice to me. In fact, the fabric is such that it almost always crumples. I mean REALLY wrinkled. It's like cutting fabric on my bed. The pockets are probably 1/4 full compared to the picture and that is AFTER the springs have fluffed up again. I received this item quickly. The packaging clearly states what to expect in terms of potential odor and fluff requirements. The smell is a little chemical but as with any new bedding straight out of the box it's to be expected. The smell will dissipate within a few hours.
