Wenzhou Chinese Rice Paper Roll Review

As my tests showed, this Chinese rice paper roll is the best product to work with. It has perfect texture, thickness and absorbency, which makes painting and drawing a dream. The paper dries quickly, allowing for vivid colors and sharp, clean lines. However, if you use very wet paint, the paper may start to buckle a bit. Overall, I would highly recommend this rice paper roll to all artists looking for an affordable and high-quality art paper.

I used this for the Shoji door panel. It looked good at first (after spraying and shrinking it down. But after a few weeks it came loose. It's too thin for this application. It's almost tissue paper. cheap.

Fantastic quality. Worked great for some suminigashi prints. Very durable even when wet. After drawing the prints I added gold leaf to the surface and it held up well. I kept a few prints rolled up for weeks and when I pulled them out again they unfolded perfectly flat and didn't curl at all. Very impressive.
