🔧 Werner 36-32 MT Series Inner Lock Replacement Kit Review

I thought they were a little pricey but now that I've bought a pair I'm very glad I don't have a safety price. The purchase comes with a complete replacement which included a new blue plastic cap. Nice touch to close everything.

Perfect replacement for my Werner ladder. My ladder fell over a long time ago and the rubber on the outside came loose so I had to find this replacement. New tires mounted, work and look just like the original. Very happy with it.

No idea why Warner made them out of plastic but the original part broke after a few years. This replacement part works great and is easy to install. I see that the lock on the other side of the stairs is also broken, so I'm sure I'll order another one soon.

Broken hinge lock on my Gorilla Ladder. The manufacturer told me that they have no spare parts and the ladder is no longer in production. The hinge lock I removed from the gorilla ladder looked the same, so I took a chance and ordered it. It almost fit and the design was exactly the same but almost didn't work. I have returned the item and am hoping for a refund. Delivery and item was ok, but I still have a nice ladder that no longer works.

These ladders have plastic handle latches. Needless to say, the plastic part is pretty easy to wrinkle. (black part in the drawing). After spending some time trying to find a replacement, I discovered that this entire kit is the only parts available. I didn't need a lock and all so I had to shell out over $30 for a plastic handle. At least the ladder is working again and I have a spare lock in case they ever fail. If I had a lathe, I'd probably turn one of those metal handles so it doesn't get…

I don't know why my first one broke but it pushed itself and was always open. So I bought this one to replace and the instructions were good and clear on how to do it. One thing that makes this easier is some pointed-ended pliers that you can put in the holes of the half-round pins to be able to open and close them, and I'm sure there's a dedicated pair of pliers for that too that would be better . Now my ladder is no longer in danger of killing me for using it for too long and only working on…
