It works as intended but I will NEVER use this type of wiring again. This product uses a mounting screw as a trailer ground. This requires every installation site to be clean and free from oxidation. What a headache, especially for a trailer driving in salt water. I highly recommend buying the power and ground wire type instead of this type.

They are very poorly assembled. As they were designed and built, the positive wire is under the grounded part. So you will be shorting out the wiring as the sharp metal edges will cut through the wire's insulation. All four lamps I bought were defective in the same way. If you only need the light to work today, then that's fine. If you want them to work next year, don't buy them. Trailer wiring short-circuit guaranteed.

The user interface from Wesbar's parent company Horizon Global is terrible. I have several of these lights installed on my boat trailer and if the salt water destroys them and the warranty expires I will try to return them for a replacement. good luck on the phone Try pressing one to get a call back.
