Very nice belts. Cut the leather and attach the buckle. Fairly large ratchet range so there is room for adjustment if needed. The ratchet seems to hold a bit of weight, enough for a strap. The only downside is that I ordered brown/silver and black/black and received black/brown and black/black. It's really not worth returning just to get a silver buckle, but I wanted to be able to move the silver buckle around with any color of leather to match my shoes for a different look. Straps arrived on time and looked great in the box. When I opened it I found a terrible smell. I expected it to be a great package with straps. I removed all materials from the straps and let them air out. .4. day and the smell is so strong that they are both still outside in the protected area. I don't know what I'm going to do with them. I'll wait a few more days. Never sniffed leather with this "scent".

These straps have a great design. First, they are fully customizable. You simply cut them to the length you want. The ratchet mechanism makes it easy to dial in the perfect tightness. Even a child or someone with arthritis can do this quickly. And since there are no holes, the belt will not tear, deform or deteriorate when loaded.

My husband had problems with the belts and buckles he had bought. The skin will stretch and lose its shape, the corners and B-pillar will sting and irritate him. These new straps and buckles are amazing! You cannot see where they have been cut when inserted into the buckle. They have no corners to cut into!

Beautiful belt BUT if you have something to keep your pants on, better order suspenders to the belt. I compared the thickness of these leather straps to a strap I ordered a while back and it didn't seem as thick as my old strap - grrrr. Consequently. catch nothing to catch. These belts (one black, one brown, with different interchangeable buckles) arrived quickly and were packaged well protected. They are a nice width (on the wider side, not on a thin belt) and the leather looks very nice. Cutting the belt was easy. I managed to do it with ordinary scissors. I don't know what that Kevlar core claim means, but it was easy. I made several cuts, trimming a little each time to make sure I don't cut too much. I have been using ratchet straps for years and this is a great two pack. I usually pay the most for 1 belt and the quality is the same as the last 2 I've bought elsewhere. The belt is easy to trim to fit the waist, but the buckle is a little heavy and poorly designed. When the end of the strap is passed through the buckle, the clip on the buckle will force the end of the strap to stick out as shown in the attached image (red arrows). It does not look good.

I used to use ratchet straps. I like the buckle and the release on them. It looks high-quality and without an additional locking/unlocking mechanism. Just lift the end of the buckle! I have no complaints but I only wear it for 3 days.
