🏞️ EM-2947 Westar Mount Review

Eliminated vibration due to worn motor mount in my 04 Neon SXT 5 speed. The quality is good, so feel free to buy a replacement instead of the original part for a fraction of the price.

This part is very well priced but the center metal part sticks out a bit more than the original. Some people may have trouble hitting the motor's metal bracket during installation. I ended up buying another one off eBay that fit exactly.

Perfect fit, this bracket is very difficult to replace, I had to replace the timing belt on my neon so it was the perfect time to do it. If you are replacing your old one, make sure you trace the old one before removing it so you can line up the new one perfectly, otherwise you could get unwanted vibrations. The guide goes through a huge alignment process, but I found tracing worked just as well. (during the old factory).

The engine mount is perfect for the Dodge Neon 02. It was delivered quickly and arrived with no problems in a nicely packaged box. The center piece that the screw goes through was slightly higher and protruded more on the engine side than stock, but after some tedious repositioning of the engine and wobbling (which is required when doing this type of work without removing the engine) , I was able to install it with no problems.
