Like many who had to purchase this item due to the thicker sink, we are absolutely thrilled with the quality. The finish is polished chrome and looks great on the white clay sink. I did a lot of research and this was by far the cheapest on the market. To be honest I like the clean look more than the OEM with Insinkator lettering. We've been using it for 2 weeks, just give out a sponge and it's like new again.

Great product if you have a deeper sink. I have a farmhouse stone sink that is significantly thicker than a standard sink and it worked flawlessly for this application. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don't like the lid that comes with it as removing it leaves the disposal open. If you have one, don't throw away the original rubber case and don't buy a similar one. I exchanged the drain at the same time, so I had a new rubber cap with the drain.

According to my contractor I needed something "fetter" or mas "grueso" in spanish. That's when I found this little baby. She's fat enough to work in a farm sink and beautiful enough to moan and moan. My only wish is that it is brass to match my faucet. It's a niche that nobody has filled. I couldn't find any extended style return flanges in brass.
