This is a very nice natural light

I photograph pets and use my flash to record them as the flash can sometimes startle or distract pets. It's really nice natural light. Feels very, very strong. One of my customers accidentally threw it off the table and everything was fine. Really bright light.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Damaged

Best thing I've added to my travel kit in years!

Best light I could buy - seriously it's so bright and now I shoot all my video interviews with it. I travel a lot and don't want to take the large 12" x 12" LED lights with me. When I got them, all my problems were solved. I also bought extra barn doors but they are not needed very often. Buy adjustable mounts for them and some small light stands and you're good to go. The battery lasts 45 minutes-1, but I usually plug it in when filming an interview. Ideal for filling in spaces and takingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Long wait

Nice but for the price

Nice but the orange filter is awkward to put on and take off and of course it tore pretty easily. It's good but was too expensive when I got it (I got it when it just came out). And the throw is not big at all. It's cool though - so to me it's more of a 'show', like a hood.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Old

WESCOTT = TOO MUCH MONEY DON'T LOSE YOUR $$

I bought this device and tried it for a wedding, found that the battery died quickly and the device itself is very overpriced. You can get the YONGNUO YN360II with 3200-5500k RGB, longer battery life and fast charging for $149. YN360II is not only cheaper but also better. This allows you to change the RGB color and tone without having to put a cheap plastic filter on it, and it's 1/3 the price so you can get 3 of these for the price of 1. Don't let the marketing fool you, explore all theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Empty

Too expensive but worth it for me.

Like everyone else I thought and still think that Westcott Ice Lights are overpriced so I waited for fakes to hit the market. I bought the Neewer Bestlight for less than half the Westcott price. However, I ended up returning the Neewer and buying the Ice Light 2. The Neewer is brighter and has a separate tungsten panel, but that's where the good stuff ends. Neewer's light was sharp with a very strong magenta hue and required three ROSCO gels (+1/2 green, +1/4 blue and diffuser) to correct theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
