This thing is very complex and confusing to use. It doesn't cut like the pictures show. You also need to have thick paper and be able to make a long cut. Made the gift wrapping much more awkward than I had hoped.

Bought two to include in art sets for my two granddaughters aged 7 and 9. They work quite well, but sometimes they're hard to start and tear paper. Takes a lot of practice, especially for small hands, but so quick when working as intended.

I have found that to get the most out of this trimmer it is necessary to use it on a large uncluttered surface. Unfortunately, when I was wrapping presents last Christmas, I didn't have a large, tidy area. If I clean up my desktop I'll try again.
