Westin 46 20055 License Plate Bracket Review

Seems well built. Something I needed to retrieve my license plate from under the winch rack. Installation was easy as I didn't have the winch installed yet. It will probably be a little more difficult to install the fairlead with the winch installed. Overall this is a good product and does what it promises.

Works great! It doesn't cost much and you can't put your license plate anywhere else. Buy it! It covers the front of my 12,000 lb winch. I've only been using it for a month and it will eventually rust but if it fails I will update. Other than that, this article is great.

That's a pretty cool idea, it allows you to put a license plate in front of the winch but provides easy access and use of the winch. Some states require plaques on the front, so it's mandatory, but Florida doesn't, so it allows me to display my team and school colors. High-quality equipment and functionality.

Works great, looks professional. Legally holds vehicle in states that require faceplate, latches/locks in down position. Push down and left to unlock and raise the winch control seat. Stays up, tension is adjustable. Allows you to move the hook or thimble to the fairlead or pulley and block the plate so your hook is out of sight and hidden.

Installing this mount is a real hassle for those with big hands and now you can get a wrench as the sides of the mount get in the way. Coupled with the fact that the screws cannot be tightened at all because 1) the roller interferes and 2) the sides of this bracket interfere. However, once installed, I liked the look and functionality of the product. This allows us to place a label on the front of the vehicle, either by choice or by law.
