Too bright - do not buy!

A 25w lamp advertised as 25w is as bright as a standard 60w incandescent lamp. The lumen at 120 volts is listed as 154. A standard 25 watt incandescent bulb produces 210 lumens. This product is mislabeled but too expensive to return so it ends up being used as a 60 watt lightbulb.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Small things

It gave off a harsh, institutional, bluish light.

Good price, just under $3 for a four pack and they work but too blue for a bathroom light fixture. They gave off a garish, institutional bluish light that didn't suit us. Maybe they should look like this? We didn't like waking up in an environment with this type of lighting and preparing for our day (we found it negatively altered the mood - I don't know how to describe it), so we removed it.

Barack Obama had to make some lightbulbs, but they were very hard to find.

I have poor lighting situations in my house and all I need is nice soft 25 watt light from good old fashioned incandescent bulbs. Westinghouse and Revane to the rescue! And thanks for making it an 'add-on' so the shipping costs aren't 'off'. There's room for bright, eye-catching lightbulbs, like the ones on my porch. but neither my living room nor my hiding place are part of it.

130v, but most US homes are 120v. But that's ok!

This 130V bulb works on 120V (standard for American households), but the product doesn't tell you until you receive it (and read it on the packaging) that if you turn it on use a 120V line, they put out 22 watts. Light and not 25. Which is actually fine with me because I use them for accent lighting and not main lighting. In addition, their presence on the 120V line extends their lifespan by almost 3 times (the packaging says 12 years at 3 hours a day). These standard 130V incandescent bulbs…

Bright idea 💡! Incandescent

Come on, it's an incandescent bulb. What can you say? I have a small lamp in a dark corner of my living room that I didn't have the right bulb for. That's right. Like a normal lightbulb. I usually leave the lamp on all night and so far the lamp has lasted several months. It's reasonable. But the nice thing is that when I ordered it I found the price quite high. And then it turns out I got four lightbulbs, not the ones I wanted to get! So it's cool. I just think it has a weird yellow cast to it.

Pros
  • Excellent All-Round Performance
Cons
  • Available in White Only

These are old (and obsolete I believe) incandescent bulbs

My wife prefers conventional incandescent to full spectrum or even incandescent for her upstairs studio. The problem is that the wall lights are mounted at least 8-10 feet off the ground, so I have to lug a ladder up the spiral staircase at annoyingly frequent intervals to replace them. Due to the pandemic lockdown, she hasn't been gone long enough for me to replace the bulbs with long-lasting LEDs of the same spectrum. She claims she can tell the difference, but I'd like to see it. Either way,

The first lightbulb burned out.

When I received the pack of four bulbs, I put the first one in and it went out in about two seconds. I prayed as I put in the second bulb that this wouldn't happen again. It's not like this. But it made me question the quality of this product. I tried to put another lightbulb in another lightbulb. The same, handed over immediately. Dead, ready, nada, zilch. At that moment I realized something: when the lamp was on and I tried to screw in one of the bulbs, it immediately burned out. If I make…

Terribly inefficient but nice soft shine!

I'm a big believer in efficient lighting (LEDs) and am pleased that so many efficient lighting options are available today. So why did I buy these horribly inefficient lightbulbs? Because I like the quality of the light. I use them in my bathroom. I need the soft light they give to use at night before bed. And incandescent bulbs soften and yellow when dimmed, unlike LEDs. Two of these bulbs, semi-dim, provide very good lighting for use just before bedtime. LEDs are not the same. But they are…

Good lightbulb. does his job.

I do not understand the star request for presentation. Is the lightbulb making a presentation? How dinner is served makes a presentation. However . Unless I've encountered a major problem with a lightbulb, such as exploding or blowing out in a very short period of time, I don't know how anyone can provide a helpful overview of a standard lightbulb. I do a lot of reviews on Revain, but how do you rate a famous brand lightbulb? It works great wherever I always use a 40w bulb. It takes a good…
