Bright light! for halogen bulbs

I needed a 50W T3 halogen bulb for a light fixture above the stairs. This lamp was significantly brighter (900 lumens) than comparable lamps from other manufacturers. Works perfectly.

Not very long

The lamp fit, was great. But it only lasted about 5 months. I'm not sure what the expected lifespan should be, but I'm pretty sure the bulb I had before lasted about 5 years.
