Suitable for emergencies: Wall lights

Good for emergencies and everyday use. Night light and flashlight in one. I wish there were more night light options. I believe there is a night light that comes on in the dark. The other is that it's on (dimmed) and then gets brighter as someone walks by. I was hoping there would be a motion sensor that would turn on when I walk by instead of keeping me up at night.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Negative gift

Great little emergency light

I wanted to hook up a light that would turn on if we lost power. They do. The night lights are bright and we don't use them for that purpose, but the last time we had a power outage I had to help my son find his way out of the basement because it was pitch black! Now we have one on each floor, just in case. They also work as a flashlight. I would recommend these!

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great little backup lights

I bought these lights for my parents who don't have a backup generator. If the power goes out, they have an opportunity to find their flashlights and lanterns to relive the event. They're bright enough and the one in their bathroom turns on when you walk across the room, so the motion detection feature is a plus. I don't know how long the batteries will last as they haven't turned off since we installed them.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Null

Very bright with good performance!

These appear to be very good lights. They're actually a bit brighter than I'd normally prefer, but a motion option allows them to turn off completely when not needed, which I think I actually enjoy more than the constant nighttime glow I've had before. They seem to make decent flashlights. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but as long as we can see other lights can be reached, they will do the job.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Compatibility

Convenient and good for emergencies

Movement directly in front of the sensor good, laterally not effective. The very light, dark option is nice because it doesn't cast harsh shadows when watching TV in the dark. The emergency lights turn on when the power is turned off. A motion sensor prevents the battery from being discharged in the event of a power failure. Has a reflective flashlight cone on the top of the device as an additional feature. I plugged one in and turned it off so it only wakes up when it's off. The other two…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No instructions

Happy with these lights!

Very happy with these night/emergency lights! The night light is enough to see where you're going, but it's not bright enough to wake anyone up and only turns on when the room is dark. The emergency lights are much brighter and turn off the power when switched on. The flashlight is quite bright, but nothing special. I haven't had them long enough to know what the battery life is like, but so far I'm very happy with them. They are well made and work exactly as advertised.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Something different

Very handy reversing lights

I bought three of these a few months ago and installed them in my kitchen and two bathrooms. We were very happy with them. In addition to the original purpose I bought them for (tackling power outages - my original motivation was that our bathrooms don't have windows and I thought it would be really awkward to stand in the shower with the lights out). It was also really handy to have a light that would turn on (and turn off again) at just the right time when we head to the kitchen or bathroom…

  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not sure

Night light plugs directly into a 110V outlet

Replaces existing two-piece devices that used RF to charge the battery. RF chargers failed on ALL (4) devices within two years. They looked neat, but they definitely couldn't take it. I bought Westinghouse equipment to be able to easily plug the equipment into an outlet without having to worry about RF charging stations. The blocks perform the same functions as the original blocks, you just need to plug the 110V pins into the block when using it as a flashlight. This comes in handy with our…
