Appears to be of good quality. At the bottom, where the cap screws onto the nipple, there is a small area for insects to enter. I didn't have access to an electrical box that would probably allow me to snuggle up to the ceiling. Instead, I drilled holes in my new Hardie soffit near where the wires exited and secured with snap bolts. Because of this, there is a gap of about 1/4 inch between the ceiling and the fixture. I don't know how to set it to be on the same level.

I replaced 4 ceiling fans, 5 different lights and yet the most difficult part was the installation. Acorn nuts are a terrible fit unless the mounting bolts are the correct height.
