⚡ Westinghouse Lighting 3314900 Weatherproof Equivalent Review

This is my second set. All three burned out within a month. I light them in honor of the thin blue line from dusk to dawn. So 10 hours a day gives about 5500 hours of operation. However, the specs for the light say that at 3 hours a day you should get 22.8 years. That's almost 25,000 hours, so I have a little over 20% of the nominal for all three bulbs. Regardless, it's a beautiful vibrant blue and sends a message, so other than bulb life, they're great.

I used 100w spotlights to light my outdoor trees. At that time it was incandescent lamps, which consumed a lot of energy (10% efficiency) and got quite hot. I decided to replace them with LED versions (still 100W) to reduce power. I was surprised that LED spotlights shine much brighter and farther than the older incandescent versions. I'm a color and lighting enthusiast so I was unhappy to have this brand of Westinghouse GREEN LED spots sold at Revain. and other seller stocks, so if you can find them now their prices are a lot higher than they used to be (I hope Westinghouse decides to make more of these). But unlike Feit and other brands (especially those sold at Home Depot and Lowes), this GREEN color of Westinghouse LED emitters is DICHROIC and emits the deepest light green with slight blue tones.
