🍻 Westmark Germany Hermetus Steel Beer Bottle Opener with 3-in-1 Resealing Function Review

This product is usually good for keeping beer open for several days. You need to make sure the flexible liner that fits over the beer bottle makes good contact. It seems like different types of beer bottles can sometimes affect the seal. I've had the best results by adding the re-sealant to the top of the bottle and then rotating the bottle slightly to ensure a tight fit. Overall I would recommend and I have given some as gifts to friends.

We drink bubbly at family gatherings and the lid that comes with it isn't very good. I discovered this open/reclose thing and found that they actually retain their shine in juice or wine a bit longer if leftovers are left. It also fits Topochico bottles. Hard to imagine that you open a beer bottle and have "leftovers" for which you need this closure, but still. It works!

I wish I had found it this year. I LOVE IT! It's a good bottle opener and an even better glass bottle sealer. I buy Coca-Cola in Mexican 12 ounce glass bottles to get a Coke made out of sugar. I use them for mixed drinks. This allows me to use 3 or 4 ounces at a time and recap the bottle. It works great. It also seems to work really well with beer bottles. This Westmark 3 is perfect for me. I live alone and have no need for 6 12oz beers, but since I didn't get a chance to cap the bottle, I either drank more than I wanted or spilled 4oz down the drain. Losing 4 ounces of stock has been a common occurrence for me. As you can imagine, I'm not a big drinker, but I do like the taste of good beer. With Westmark 3 I can buy a large bottle of beer and drink it for several days, 4 days is normal for me and the beer doesn't run out. Works perfectly!

I am very happy with this bottle opener/capper. The product itself becomes the seal or closure for your unfinished beer by pressing it down. It has a silicone or rubber-like material that creates a seal. Every once in a while, that little piece of rubber slips out of the little clips that hold it in place, but it's easy enough to put back in place. This creates a really tight seal. Probably the best bottle opener I have ever used. It is durable, effective and can be used to re-seal an opened bottle. It feels good in my hand, doesn't bump or slip when in use, it's attractive (shiny) and frankly just better than other bottle openers. I love craft beer, but a lot of releases come in bomber jackets. Bombers can be too big for one person if you drink high alcohol beers so I bought one to try. I tested it with my wife's cheap beer and got great results. Then after great results I tried it on one of my bombers and it worked amazingly.
