Broke after 3 uses.

The plastic tabs holding the handle in the tub failed after 3 uses causing the handle to rotate within the tube to prevent the blade from cutting into the pineapple.

Not Very Wide - Kitchen and Dining

I was hoping for a 4 inch slicer for wider pineapples. This one said it was 3.9, but it's not, it's more like 2.9. The quality is very good and durable so I'm sure it will last a long time.

After a cheap plastic pineapple slicer I bought at Walmart.

After a cheap plastic pineapple cutter I bought at Walmart broke before I even cut the pineapple, I bought this one. Big improvement over plastic! I've used it about 4 times and I'm not worried it will break anytime soon.

Attention pineapple lovers!

An indispensable item in every kitchen! This agrees with all reviews; durable and easy to use! We use it at our family business where we core some pineapples to make giant fruit party bowls and it has made our life so much easier! We also use core shells filled with fruit sauce as the centerpiece of fruit bowls. If you love pineapples, you'll love this corer!

Pay attention to the locking button of the plastic handle. It won't be long

First I bought various models of pineapple corers. and was initially in awe of how well this one was done. However, I'm pretty sure I've used it less than 10 times and after I've used the device the handle will not lock and keep spinning making it impossible to use. I had to remove the handle and use a screwdriver to complete the core cutting process! So I hope that the company will reconsider the design or the material used in making the pen! With a properly designed handle deserves 5 stars.
