I really like the design of this travel brush - it folds to make it compact for travel, but the size of the handle and teeth make no compromises, so you can comb your hair with confidence. I don't know if the original plastic bag it came in was open because I just ripped it open and didn't check. But then I opened the top of the brush manufacturer's plastic packaging and saw about 20 black hairs in the bristles. I turned the packaging over and the plastic box was cut up with scissors (or just cut clean) where someone must have taken it out and used a brush. So thanks, but not thanks for the used comb.

In addition to blow drying my hair every morning before work, I also swim on my lunch break. It's important that I have a comb that takes good care of my hair without taking up too much room in my swim bag. I love wet brushing but have always used tiny little ones. I was so excited to find these full size folding boxes. When I received it I was even more impressed by how heavy it is and how well it holds up to heat and wet hair. I recommend. great price too

I don't usually comb my hair but this brush really makes combing fun. The folding part is a little flimsy and looks like it could break at any moment, but I just open it a little more carefully. Also if you have long nails the retractable part of the brush can be an issue and make sure you don't pinch your finger by folding it back in like I did a couple of times.
