The package was opened and there were already hairs in the comb.
I don't know if the original plastic bag it came in was open because I just ripped it open and didn't check. But then I opened the top of the brush manufacturer's plastic packaging and saw about 20 black hairs in the bristles. I turned the packaging over and the plastic box was cut up with scissors (or just cut clean) where someone must have taken it out and used a brush. So thanks, but not thanks for the used comb.
