Great fit, thin, goes with my rubber fins

I bought these thin socks with fins to fit my rubber fins so they don't rub on my feet. They work fine. I recommend. I wear size 45 euros and received a large size.

Perfect, not as thick as others

I bought these to use with boarding fins. Many others add more thickness to feel comfortable in the fins. it made it The material is nice and not bulky like neoprene types. So if you want to protect without bulk, this is the ticket.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Minor issues

It was great but the ankle was too short for me

They felt great, fit great and gave me all the padding I needed except for the back of my ankle. I have since ordered other socks with a higher ankle area. Maybe it's just me and my legs because otherwise the Westsox felt good and worked well for the rest of my legs.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons

Surprisingly good! Surf

The best wet sock I have ever used. In addition to being neoprene, it breathes very well and wicks away water and fine sand. The elastic fit hugs the foot snugly and is very comfortable with sandals or wet shoes. Helps keep feet warm in cold water and cool when hiking in hot weather. Two weeks of daily use on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon without any signs of wear.

Ideal for watersports

I was looking for leg protection for windsurfing and kitesurfing that doesn't get in the way and that's great. Everything else I've tried was too thick or slumped, but these come as close to naked surfing as you can get. No more cutting your legs, stepping on debris, or kicking a rapier. I bought them thinking they would never be good given the price but I was pleasantly surprised. These are the cheapest I've found and work better than my $100 Kevlar socks.

The sizing chart is wrong

The sizing chart in the product description is different from the one on the box. My socks are loose on me. They barely fit in the fins with my foot and while they prevent blistering I still get chafing and red marks. The structured exterior is more trouble than it's worth. While this doesn't prevent your foot from slipping on wet tiles, it does make it harder to pull on the fin while scrubbing your hands. I suspect it also causes the toe to move with the fin and not my foot. I could buy new…

Maybe I took a risk in vain

I understood what they were created for. However, I bought this product hoping that my feet would be dry while kayaking with water drainage shoes. Of course, when you launch a kayak, you have to get in the water. Well I knew right away they weren't made for that as my feet got wet right away. I just couldn't find enough information about this product to see if it would do what I was looking for, so I had to learn by making a purchase and just trying it. The socks fit as expected and are snug, I

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not the best

After reading the reviews I bought the medium size for my lady size 11'. They're a little tight which means they stay in place when I put my foot in my short fins. Medium fit to 10.5 so ordering a size smaller seems to have been a good choice. I love the thin nature of these socks and the seams are very smooth which is comfortable for my feet with significant neuropathy. I recommend them for inner fins and after using them for snorkeling I will contribute to a follow up review. Thanks for the…
