swapped the old part for this one and after a few days it went bad. After the market part received a new Ford auto part, the car will work again, not recommended

Installed on my F150 and triggered the check engine light. Ohm on the primary winding is open. It's too late to return. Always check the resistance before installation, it should be between 0.5 and 0.9 ohms.

This is the first part I replaced on a 1996 Ford Ranger 4L ohv P0402. Excessive EGR flow. This causes uneven idling. So the item was exchanged. That's how it was with DPFE. The EGR valve itself seems to work because when it is disconnected from the idle vacuum the truck idles to level out. I couldn't figure out why this didn't fix the situation. Eventually took it to the dealer and they basically told me to replace the part again. I paid $50 for a genuine Ford part identical to this one. Same…
