Better than average

This was above average stock. Good quality. The hardest part was pulling out the old pipe. Do yourself a favor and purchase a detachable drain remover that comes with the extension. Also, give the old WD40 drain a good lube and let it sit for 30-45 minutes before removing it. It took a lot of effort to pry the drain out, but I finally pulled it out. This one looks great now!

Goes fairly well with Moen Brantford

Our faucets are Moen but the spill plate has two screws and I couldn't find Moen so I bought these. Also bought the Moen Brantford shower set. It's not a *perfect* match, but it's okay (to me). It was easy to install both the plate and drain. It came with an o-ring, but what was there was fine. The previous drain was just a piece of junk and was difficult to remove. I had to use a hair dryer on the old drain to heat it up and soften the old plumbers putty before removing it with the drain…

Looks spectacular! on bathtub drain

Bought a 70's house that had a bathtub with no drain plug. Eight years later, I finally decided to correct this mistake. I originally wanted to replace the entire faucet system for over $1,000 (parts and labor) because I didn't know how else to solve the problem. Instead I bought this part and the installer installed it today. Looks great! I don't know if I could do it myself, but I'm delighted with the result. (I also bought a bathtub drain wrench, but the plumber had the exact same tool, so…

Brushed Nickel Drain

The Brushed Nickel Drain was a perfect match for my Moen Brushed Nickel Trim Kit. It comes with a brass adapter to accommodate wider drain threads. The only thing I didn't like was that the stem of the cork sticks out higher than I think is normal, potentially causing a "stubbed toe". a new one with the same pliers and plumber smeared it under the liner. The pliers did some damage to the reticle trap, but that's not something you can see with the stopper in place.

Decent quality but watch color

Well designed looks like it will last a few years. Installation was easy (using a brass adapter in our case). The plug and drain were better quality, the overflow section was lighter/lower quality but good enough considering it was never meant to be used or near water. Would have given 5 stars if the color was closer to brushed nickel. In our case it looks more like brushed steel - especially the overflow cover. None of the parts came close to our Phister or Moen brushed nickel hardware. If…

Wow - excellent quality at half the price!

This fork is as good as any major brand but costs twice as much. Solid, heavy, excellent workmanship at first glance. The machining on this mount is excellent and the finish matches other brand mounts I have from Delta, Moen and Kohler. This is the fitting you need to install a drain with standard 1-1/2" threads or larger holes. I removed the brass adapter and voila! WORKS. There are no installation instructions so use these tips: No Plumber required as the gasket will hold the seal - Using a…
