This fork is as good as any major brand but costs twice as much. Solid, heavy, excellent workmanship at first glance. The machining on this mount is excellent and the finish matches other brand mounts I have from Delta, Moen and Kohler. This is the fitting you need to install a drain with standard 1-1/2" threads or larger holes. I removed the brass adapter and voila! WORKS. There are no installation instructions so use these tips: No Plumber required as the gasket will hold the seal - Using a flat head screwdriver, loosen the set screw just enough to allow the plug to pop out prior to installation Do not remove - Once the drain is finger tight, insert the back of the pliers handle (preferably insulated) into the drain body insert and tighten until it stops.I used a needle nose and didn't have to over tighten.tighten the set screw again.
