WH14NS40 Playback Internal Essentials Software Review

Has never worked since day one, have tried it on a windows 10 computer and on a windows 7 computer. All it did was open a window and ask if I need help choosing a drive, then sent me to Microsoft to no avail. I won't be returning it because I don't want to go to a UPS store in the middle of a pandemic. Never buy anything again. LG CALL LG, THEY TOLD ME THE SERVICE WILL CONTACT ME! WAIT 2 MONTHS BUT THERE IS NO CONTACT. LG TIP: JUST GO OUT AND GET EVERYONE OUT OF THE PROBLEMS

Very good Blu-ray drive for the money, but the Nero Disc should be thrown in the bin immediately as it's unusable. Unfortunately without Power-DVD I couldn't get the drive to play Blu-ray movies easily because of all the copyright crap that comes with Blu-ray discs now and sadly costs another $80 but as soon as I power- DVD installed, any Blu-ray will play flawlessly. like magic. The Nero that comes with the disc looks like it's from Windows 95 and does nothing but try to trap you with software

I replaced a slim DVD burner with this one purchased from Dell. I've been using it for about two weeks now. I am happy with the drive. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I didn't use the trial version of Nero because I already have another software package. The only complaints I have are more related to the Dell computer than the drive.
