the bulb didn't light up. I heard a noise when it went into training mode and the dog stopped barking, so the part is working. It didn't feel right so I'll buy another brand. This is a replacement for another brand - the mother of the dog I'm watching used this type of device to teach her dog to stop barking, but she found it and got her revenge. :/

I wasn't really hoping but this thing really works! I haven't used it too much so I can't confirm the battery life. Really gets my dog's attention, I just have to reach for her and she stops when she's alert. Even when we went outside in a closed car, some dogs barked at us, I pushed the button (for my dog) and those in the car even fell silent! Didn't expect that! Not many instructions, mostly in Chinese, poorly translated, but pretty basic. Highly recommended.

Advertisement says it's safe for all dogs. This has absolutely NO effect on my smallest or largest dog, which ranges from 6 to 65 pounds.
