rubber overpriced 90

I paid over $50 for this dollar. 50 rubber 90. Yes, some water will go through. If I ever need one again I'll buy a Fernco for about $4 and PVC 90. Of course I knew the price and paid it so I'm ashamed. Although this part is definitely not worth the price. You wanted honesty, right? Want a review full of praise? I have a five dollar bill for sale at the very low price of $50. Does it match the description? Yes. Is it worth? LOLOLOLOLOL!

Pros
  • tools and household goods
Cons
  • the list will be long.

$40 for a piece of rubber but it works. The product uses your more typical hose clamp, you know the one that has a universal fit. The clamp seems to be of decent quality because when I tightened the bolt fairly hard (note that a lot of water pressure goes through this piece of rubber) it didn't pop off the threads of the clamp like it can happen with some hose clamps. My hot tub model was the Gold Series and my part number was w10195114 which basically has almost no purchasing or crossโ€ฆ

Clamps too big, not fastened properly

Someone really missed something. The clamps that come with this hose are too big and not tight enough to prevent leakage. I replaced my leaky hose with this one and it seemed a little loose after I fully tightened both clamps. I thought it was my imagination and put it all back together and sure enough it started leaking. I ended up having to wrap a strip of PVC liner (40 mil) I left behind from the bathroom project under each bracket to keep them waterproof. Everything was fine after that, but
