🎨 Premium White Alcohol Ink Set: High-Quality Alcohol-Based Inks Review

I was very excited to find mineral spirit ink that wasn't a mix of whites, but then used a little and wasn't overly impressed with the quality. I'll try again soon on another project and I'll see if it works better and if it does I'll check again.

I really like the white effects option when used with flowers in art. There is versatility and endless possibilities. I also really like that the ink comes in separate containers. That way if I want to use it in more than one crafting area/project I can't and don't have to keep coming back to get it.

The price was great and the bottles had excellent ink control. My problem is that the ink is very thin. For resin users we look for inks that can absorb other colors and these inks take a lot to sink successfully. This will dilute the colors and create pastels if you are looking for gem tones. I have only used this for resin and cannot speak for other uses so please take that into account.

I used this on canvas. For the first photo, the canvas was already prepared and I used different colors of alcohol ink. This was done 4 months ago. Completely dry. I added a bottom white color and I love the effects. Everything got messed up. The second photo is a larger canvas and after prep I worked wet on wet with other brands and colors of alcohol inks. I didn't let it dry between coats and I liked using medium white best.

That white ink is terrible. The white paint did not "drip" at all. I tested both the middle and bottom drops on ashtrays with a rainbow of colors. The 'middle' white color pulled the color up a bit (lower part in the picture), the 'bottom' color didn't pull the color down at all. I've used various ABS boost methods and can't get this white alcohol ink to work like the more expensive big brands do. This is a big failure. save your money

The bottles were difficult to open and the ink was clumpy and kept clogging the tips. On first use the entire tip came off and ended up in my project. There was a huge mess and I checked the flow before I started, but the dried clumps of pigment left stains on my work and just ruined over $20 worth of resin. Not to mention the huge mess I had to clean up, and fast. I was also disappointed that they do NOT cause colors to sag more than any other alcohol based ink. Medium has the same effect as…

Not a bad alcohol ink for the price. They mix well and are performing as advertised for me so far, although I won't be using any resin until I can air my studio this summer, so I can't yet confirm how well they sink or float. White is bright yet adds a beautiful dimension to my art. I find I need to use a little more from this brand than some well known brands to get the result I want, but so far so good. The price-performance ratio is definitely fair and I would buy more inks from this brand…
