Works the same as bleach. For people asking about use with white clothing that also has colored detailing, don't. It's bleach. If you don't want to use liquid bleach, don't use this one. I used this product as a last resort to save 4 pieces of clothing (all white) that were ruined in the wash and now are BRIGHT PINK! (Don't ask me how I missed the red piece in the sort).
