Description of ๐ŸŽจ Kuretake ZIG BRUSH PEN WHITE Ultra Fine: Perfect for Highlighting in Illustrations and Manga Artworks - Ideal for Professionals and Beginners

[WHITE BRUSH PEN] Twist the base of the pen to eject ink into the brush. Filled with water-based pigment ink, it does not easily mix or blend with water once completely dry. ULTRA FINE brush tip easily creates fine, delicate lines. Brush pen white is easy to use and more convenient than bottle white ink. [FOR BRUSH LETTERING, HIGHLIGHTING] Ideal for not only adding white lights to illustration, manga, or comics, but also for brush and hand lettering. It is most effect on dark-colored papers. Can be used on top of alcohol based marker illustrations as well as water-based pigment ink. [USAGE] How to use White Brush Pen: Remove the cap and with the pen tip facing downwards, twist the opposing end of the pen clockwise 5-10 times to stimulate ink flow. As you twist, you will hear a clicking sound. If the ink does not come out, continue twisting the base gradually, checking the ink flow at the tip as you do so. [CERTIFICATED] Xylene-free, conforms to ASTM D 4236, ACMI-certified for safety, registered AP mark for sale in the United States. [ATTENTION] Please be sure to wipe brush clean after each use to prevent buildup and clogging. [ESTABLISHED MANUFACTURER] Kuretake launched its first brush pen in 1973, continuing to expand the line with each product having unique features, and a variety of uses. The brush pen is most commonly used for calligraphy, lettering, sketching, outlining, inking illustrations and ink washing.

very opaque and good coverage

Tried many white watercolor pencils, both adding highlights and correcting mistakes. That worked best. Excellent coverage and very opaque. Does not react to watercolors like most other white pencils.

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Excellent coverage

These brush pens are great! They take a bit of getting used to as you have to "dial in" the amount of paint you want to use. Then you need to take care of the brush, because the paint comes out in drops. I always have a paper napkin or a cloth with me just in case. Once you get the hang of it and know how many "clicks" you want at once, they're easy to use.

Cons
  • Not sure

Good lighting though.

Recently I was looking for a nice white pen to highlight anime drawings. It highlighted my drawings quite well, but it was difficult to control the ink flow. This morning (after my third drawing) the ink just wouldn't come out. And the spin feature above has reached its maximum spin. It is very opaque but not recommended as you can use it for so long.

Cons
  • Long delivery time
