As with the various settings, the extra room at the end of the cord is a big plus, one set was used for a 7.5ft tall Christmas tree!

You'll have to decide how to withstand the weather, but they're very light and small, which helps with hanging. Also, they are a lot brighter than I thought! Great price and product!

I just bought it 2 days ago. Hung it from the ceiling for my three young children to look at. Picked them up for 1 day and they made my outlet and outlet cord so hot it was smoking! I'm glad I managed to turn them off! Totally dissatisfied and if you buy these also pay attention to the socket you plug them into!

Love the variety of flicker lights that are super lightweight and blend into your decor with clear wiring. What I didn't like is that when you turn off the light, the flicker reverts back to multi. Too bad there wasn't a way to fix it so you didn't have to re-select the flicker you wanted. Otherwise it's great and great value for money!

I love the look! They are strong enough to shoot and move from one place to another. At least I did. They only have the wiring from the plug in its part about 3 meters, but in my case it's perfect because I liked where I could place it in my garden. I want to connect another kit at the end of the one installed first. But it's okay, I'll buy another set soon.

These lights have 8 different modes, with the default mode alternating through the different modes. You should be able to select the mode you want by pressing the button on the headlights. I tried setting a permanent mode but every time the light comes on it reverts to the default mode. I have 16 of these strings installed and have to go outside every night and tune them to the mode I want. Don't buy if you want them programmed for a specific mode.

I bought these based on a review and was impressed when they arrived. All the lights worked and they are LED but they don't have that horrible weird LED glow or flicker! They're more like the 'regular' cream glow we all love. I had no problem picking them up and laying them on our gutters. The threads are long and you need to make sure they don't get tangled. If you are observant then you will like these lights. Now I'm buying more to get it in order before Christmas and make sure I have enough

The only reason this item doesn't get 5 stars is because you have to change the settings EVERY TIME you turn it on. While I estimate there are 7-8 settings for these lights, for me the "default" setting should always be on. Instead, it's the last setting, so every time you turn it on you have to go to the plug and press the little button a couple of times to find the setting you want. And it doesn't remember what you set it to, so it resets every time you turn it on. Is it a big deal? No not at
