perfect fit for my 2005 LGT

Good fit and easy to install. The steering wheel tightens a little, but it's not the difference between day and night. But Def is worth the money!

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Huge improvement - rack and pinion

I had to pull the rack out to seal it and took the opportunity to upgrade the mounting bushings in the process. The included bushing removal tool greatly simplifies the process. I've noticed a big improvement over the stock sockets.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

great product, easy installation can use the second set.

Great product, easy installation, can use a second pair of hands but not necessary as I did it myself in about an hour but combined with the Cusco clincher it was pretty noticeable improvement in autocross

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives

Carefully lower the shelf!

2014 wrx. I ended up breaking the seal on the gear shaft when I lowered the rack to fit those bushings. It cost me $30 and 2 days to fix what I broke. As a result I got a pretty cool steering, now I had new gaskets, bushings and fluid.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Small improvement but worth buying if replacing worn bushings

I replaced the completely worn out strut bushings in my 2005 Legacy GT with these. There's a lot less freeway sway now and no added NVH, but I didn't notice much of a difference in steering feel to be completely honest. Maybe a little more responsiveness when driving hard, but not as much as I would personally like. Still nothing like the old Honda or Porsche. However, given their relatively easy installation, you should go for them when replacing worn OEMs.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
