I suffer from seasonal depression. I bought them as an inexpensive way to get therapeutic coverage to combat them. overpriced, and almost everyone reports overheating issues. These lamps screw into a standard socket, operate at low temperatures, but provide full-spectrum light to help fight depression. As for me, I turn them on and instantly feel happier.

I installed this lightbulb in a fixture above my desk. I don't know what the magic in this lightbulb is, but I like it. I leave it on all working hours. Already on the first day of use I felt a little less depressed and sad. On the second day I was offered the job of my dreams! They are good if you want to stimulate sunlight. They are somewhat bluish. I've also bought some very expensive, high-quality, full-spectrum bulbs from a specialty shop and prefer these (which I think fill the yellow-green gap that WhitePoplars lacks). Both sets are 5000K models. I use them for a windowless basement office where I spend all day, so I'm willing to pay for the best.
