So far I've only used the V-bit with a 60 degree sharpening angle, but it cuts oak and mahogany well, does not stick or burn wood. . Feed rate is important. Around 80 Imp works great.
tools Whiteside makes the best cutters. bit expensive but worth the money. Cheaper bits have a beveled edge and will pop out of the router's collet no matter how clean and tight they are. I screwed up many routing attempts by using cheaper bits. White-sided bits have straight, vertical cutting edges to keep them from rising.
This is the first bit set I bought when I got the CNC. I was a little apprehensive at first because of the price, but as I've gained more experience with the router and since trying the cheaper parts, I've realized that you really do get what you pay for. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. .
