When I tried this product, I was impressed by how durable and precise it is. It effortlessly cut through hardwood without any chattering or burning. The shank is well-designed, providing a good grip and reducing slipping. However, it is relatively expensive compared to other high-quality router bits.
Pros
Durable and long-lasting due to high-quality materials and precision manufacturing.
Cons
Not suitable for intricate designs or detailed work due to the straight shape.
I have about 30 Whiteside bits. They are of excellent quality. I recently did a test cut with lower quality Grizzly and Whiteside. The cut of the grizzly bit was not so clean.
This thing cuts like butter. It's long - yes, the measurements are right there - just so. I would like a shorter version, in my router (Dewalt 2.25hp) the smallest cut I can make is about 1/2 inch so it's ok in the pattern but too long for the first cut without a pattern. This is the smoothest and cleanest cutter I have.
