Whiteside is such a great brand of cutting knives. I have several and this brand is by far my favorite. It offers a perfectly designed cutting surface and produces a smooth cut. Perfect.
I used this Whiteside 2058 router bit to cut 3/8" radii on pine and MDF projects. I run it on my CNC router at 12k, about 100 inches per minute feed rate. The cut is clean in MDF and requires no regrinding, and you can dive with it (as the name suggests). On pine, this causes a slight tear when moving against the grain, but I'll try to prevent this by making a rough pass about 1/8 inch from the finished edge and a second pass on the finished edge and see whether this will fix the crack. The bit arrived on the date stated. It was in the condition you would expect from a new racquet and was reasonably well protected in the packaging. It took me a while to use the bit because I needed the bit as a reference to modify the router pattern guide to match the bit and use the router safely for the project.
