🪚 Whiteside 2 Inch Router Bits 401 Review

After purchasing these thinking they would be very good I was unhappy that in a short space of time the 2008 had burned out more than I had cut myself. I've already had to replace the bearing above and was trying to get it sharp so it cuts through the wood instead of burning through it.

I bought this starter kit and I love it. It's a great choice to start with and so far I haven't had to buy any others. I've used them sparingly for the last year and they still seem as sharp as ever.

Going from a 1/4" shank made in China to a 1/2" Whiteside shank made a huge difference. The finish, the quality of the cut, the smoothness of the material after cutting is like nothing I've ever had. Yes, it's not cheap, but once you cut you'll realize it's money well spent.

Don't be told that all bits are the same, they aren't. The difference between them and the mass market parts you find is immediately noticeable. The drill "glides" over the workpiece, delivering an incredibly clean and precise cut. Now I replace all my beats with Whiteside. Highly recommended.

Whiteside is one of the best bits you can buy and people who know routers will no doubt agree. You will not regret if you buy them. The bonus is that this is a really great selection of beats for those just starting out. These are all bits that you will likely use again and again.
