🔧 Versatile Whiteside Router Bits D108 7 Piece Set for Precision Woodworking Review

This is a great set, but you need to understand what you're getting. This kit does NOT include the #80 dovetail bit that comes with the accessory. It comes with bit #75, which people confuse with bit #80 and think it doesn't match. If you need a Whiteside #80 bit you will need a D8-500X8 (not included in the kit). Even bits 140 and #160. I haven't used all the bits yet, but the ones I made worked very well, with no breaks. I use the old D4 device.

As usual my item was ordered through Revain and my items arrived on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. These bits were ordered to replace the old ones for my D4 Leigh mount. Review of these bits showed that the company pays attention to detail. One problem with buying aftermarket bits for Leigh is the length of the shank, and most other aftermarket bit shanks are too short. These are Whiteside bits so the carbide quality and finish is excellent as I would expect from my many Whiteside bits. (I love their compression bits.). However, the bits in this set are not complete replacements for comparable Leigh bits. Whiteside bits do not have the same depth of cut as Leigh bits with the same cutting angle and diameter.
