It's so cute. The baby looks adorable in a hoodie with a little elephant on it. The fabric is great. Absorbs water fairly quickly. The texture is neither too soft nor too hard. It's on the right level. Even after washing the fabric is really good, even after a few uses it's like new.

Although this towel is 100% cotton, it's not the softest. I probably won't use it on my newborn but I will on a 3 year old. It also shrinks a bit after washing as it's no longer 35x35. After a first cold wash and tumble dry, the size is now 28.5" x 29". The animal on the hood is cute and dries pretty well, so it wicks moisture and does its job. After shrinking, it barely fits a 3-foot-2, 32-pound, 3-year-old. So I wouldn't mind using it in the summer but not in the winter when I like to pack it
