Waste $99. suitable for knife sharpener

For a premium brand like Wicked Edge they have missed the mark as these ceramic stones are Ali Express quality. If you drop them even a few inches, the ceramic will crack. I understand that ceramic is one of the hardest things on earth, but at the same time it's crooked and brittle. The stone is anything but thin. And WE don't agree, then they should stop releasing this stone, because it's not true when WE have quality

Wicked Edge just rocks. I reached a plateau where .

Wicked Edge is just plain cool. I've reached a plateau where my knives can't get any sharper. I can't use the stone to save my life. This kit is so foolproof my 6 year old was able to work on a dollar store chef's knife to the point where he would almost effortlessly shave my arm and shave curls out of paper! Your wife will say you're an idiot for paying so much for a sharpener, but you'll never feel a sharper blade.

Beautifully mirror polished but don't drop it

This item is great for turning a great blade sharpening job into a GREAT blade sharpening job. Polished to a high shine every time. A word of caution: ceramic plates are very fragile, so lay them down evenly and carefully every time. I broke one of mine by putting it on end, hit it, it fell over and collided with another object on the top of my grinder. It still works but a piece of pottery is missing.

and recommend controlled angle sharpening

I sharpen several knives and recommend controlled angle sharpening. WE is probably the best Benz in the group, I'm happy with that. The diamond they offer is pretty good. I still hand wash, out of habit. This pottery is not good, I'm not sure if it was fired correctly. I have someone running a set for me and I will replace the ones on the table. The ceramics offered here do not have to be leveled after 20 knives at any price.

Exactly what the doctor ordered!

finally I got the right stones to get the mirror edge. I first bought the basic wicked edge system, then I bought 800/1000 grit stones, then I bought 14/9 micron paste and leather stoppers. I didn't get the mirror edge I wanted because it still had fine sanding lines that I tried and tried to make disappear. So I found out on bestsharpenstones.com that they sell 3m diamond lapping foils that will give you that mirror edge. So I bought both sets of lapping film down to 0.5 micron but still had a

It can't be ceramic. maybe that?

What can I say about the Wicked Edge system. It has its downsides and learning curve, but once you understand the system and how it works, you can bypass the downsides. I loved this expensive system but these ceramic bricks are the worst. I asked them to give my knives a mirrored edge but was very disappointed. I have several ceramic sharpening stones but none of them have the accuracy that this system offers so I figured it wasn't a problem and I was wrong! The stones are very brittle and on…
