Superior Sharpening Tool

The Wicked Edge Precision Knife Sharpener is a superior tool for sharpening all types of knives. Based on my observations, the abrasive and finishing products are of the highest quality, ensuring a razor-sharp edge in just a few strokes. You'll get close to those minor scratches, but 800 to 1000 is better for the same task.

The stones are excellent but for the 1500-2200 grit I expected that they would give a near finished edge well before the 'burn in' time. There are some ultra high cut diamonds on these stones which leave very visible scratches, I was expecting a more polished/matte look from this set.

It's worth it. Here's where you buff before porcelain and putty

This product works as expected. In fact, I use them more often than other grit because they work better and I feel they remove the scratches you leave when you use a lighter grit. I usually do 50 to 100 light passes with it and get a mirror finish after polishing with porcelain.
