What I was missing

This small strip will help stop leaks. These shower cleaners just can't do the job on their own. I cut it to the right length and placed it directly onto the tile with some Gorilla Glue and once it cured I applied some clear silicone sealant around the edges to finish the job. No more spills on the floor.

Cons
  • Not all will fit

Works great and solved our problem!

Just what we needed to keep water off our frameless shower door. The tiles under the door are flat and when water runs down the door it collects and runs out of the shower. Now the damn thing is there, the water stays in the shower. This is a solid acrylic piece and I used clear bathroom silicone to hold it in place. I used this in conjunction with sweeping the shower door as there was such a large gap under our door.

Shower door seal stopped leaking

The bottom seal on our glass swing shower door was leaking and replacing the seal did not solve the problem. It is installed with clear silicone caulk, available at a hardware store. You cut it to the right length and then stick it on the bath or shower tray, under the door when it's closed. It acts as a lintel, directing water that runs off the door or collects on the floor of the shower stall back into the shower. Works great.

Performs work on showers and shower parts

1) Measure opening 2) Cut sill to length with hacksaw Long distance. Perfect for our shower threshold

We used this to create a water barrier just behind the shower door and it works great! Unfortunately, whoever installed our shower left a grout line and jagged mark between the marble slabs in the door, so I had to caulk the threshold rather than tape it. It worked great. I cut it off with a fine-toothed hacksaw, then applied a bead of clear silicone sealant to the bottom and taped it in place. Once I squeezed a piece of excess sealant and all the bubbles were squeezed out on the sides. I…

Perfect leak fix for my shower surround

This is just what we needed to fix the bad tilt of our shower surround pointing towards the bathroom floor and not back into the shower. I pretty much followed the instructions given by the previous reviewer who provided the image. I used a hacksaw to cut it to size and then used clear silicone sealant (bathroom grade) to glue it in place. I applied joint compound to the bottom and sides of the acrylic, pressed it in place and held it in place for a few minutes. I then waited the specified time

Works great on kitchen and bathroom installations

I have a frameless shower door, water kept pouring out from under the door. My contractor did not slope the curb enough to allow water to seep all over my floor even with the door cleaner installed. This piece of acrylic solved my problem. Installation was easy: measure the length you want; Stick a piece of masking tape to the acrylic and draw a line where you want to cut; Cut out acrylic with a power tool (I used a Dremel); Acrylic trial seat to ensure door opens/closes; clean all surfaces…

Works great once installed with Gorilla Clear Silicone Sealant

This product is a 35 inch piece of clear plastic (I think it's Plexiglas). It comes without glue and without instructions. I installed it by pressing a bead of clear silicone sealant (sold separately) onto the flat side and manually sliding it into place after the first mark where it should be. The sealant says it dries in 30 minutes , but it actually takes several hours. After drying (one day after installation), the shower door no longer leaks water that used to flow under the bottom edge of…
