I don't have static electricity. The comb arrived nicely and securely packaged. There's a tooth I need to grind, it's pulling out strands of hair.

I really like the horn combs. No static. They seem to fluff their hair and tame those that fly away. They are durable and perform very well. And most importantly, they swim well through the hair. This one does it best. The teeth are slightly exaggerated. The edges of the teeth are cut much sharper than necessary. This allows this particular comb to catch more than usual. Very nicely made comb - very, very smooth! - and packed in a nice cardboard box. I was able to use this comb on my thigh length hair wet or dry. The teeth are quite close together but still very strong. The wooden frame is surprisingly smooth (not varnished but carefully sanded), the wood has a great grain and its shape fits the hand perfectly. Although my first comb was damaged the replacement was perfect and arrived sooner than expected. The comb is ideal for all hair.

Smelled really bad when taken, like sewage. It appears to have been a velvet storage bag. Thrown away. I had to wash the comb 3 times with soap and a toothbrush to get rid of the smell. Otherwise great comb.
