This thing actually degrades the signal, never got the bandwidth in Decibels and single increases worse than the much shorter and lighter straw antenna. I bought this as a last resort to extend the range of my existing WiFi network inexpensively to expand . A room in my house is at the limit of the WiFi range. All I need is a little more range and bandwidth to make this space work. I didn't want to buy a range extender or a new wireless router. I connected this antenna and did not notice any noticeable difference from the standard antenna. Even a slight increase should have been noticeable, since the room in question is covered. But I don't see
